INGREDIENTI
  • 200 g of dried figs
  • 100 g of dates
  • 100 g of pistachio nuts
  • 50 g of almonds
  • the zest from an orange
  • 1 tablespoon of orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • unsweetened cocoa powder
COME PROCEDERE
  1. Finely chop up the pistachio nuts and the almonds. Set aside.
  2. Using a knife, cut the figs and the dates into small pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the pulp both of the figs and of the dates. Add the grated orange zest, the orange juice, the honey and the cinnamon stirring well with a wooden spoon until you have a smooth mixture.
  4. Moisten your hands with a trickle of oil and shape the truffle mixture into little balls.
  5. Gently roll them in the chopped pistachio nuts and almonds until evenly well-coated.
  6. Line a tray with baking paper.
  7. Arrange the truffles in the tray and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  8. Take your truffles out of the fridge just before serving and dust them with unsweetened cocoa powder.
